questions below about the new Standard.
What
is RoHS? RoHS
stands for "the restriction of
use of certain hazardous substances
in electrical and electronic equipment."
What
substances are restricted? Lead,
Cadmium, Mercury, hexavalent chromium,
polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and
polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE)
flame retardants.
When
does this standard go into effect?
July,
1st 2006
How
does this effect KG Relays? Relays
from KGTI are now produced in compliance
of the new RoHS standard. You will
continue to receive the same top quality
products. Our Part Numbers will now
indicate that our products are RoHS
Compliant. Please check the individual
Data Sheets
of the product you are interested
for more detailed information.
