History
Mr. Klaus Gruner, CEO and Chief Design Engineer founded KG in 1992. His accomplishments in designing latching relays are acknowledged globally and well recognized within their respective markets. With more than 45 years designing experience, Mr. Gruner has developed a state of the art, patented technology recently implemented into a new generation of latching relays we call "das switchen". Das Switchen products from KG set benchmark standards in performance and reliability that are unmatched by any products of similar nature. The tradtion of excellence continues today, with Mr. Gruner's sons Thomas and Philipp.

KG manufacturing notes
KG products are manufactured abroad in strategic alliances providing us the highest quality standards as expected from Mr. Klaus Gruner CEO and Chief Design Engineer. Established in the mid 1980s, we recently relocated to a newly built facility of over 500,000 sq. ft that is well equipped with a state of the art model & mold shop with complete stamp and metal working capabilities as well. These processes are maintained on fully automated systems of German and Japanese technology. With over 1700 employees at this location, yearly production exceeds 250M relays annually. Final assembly is 100% electronically tested under the strictest QC control standards. The facility's quality management is ISO 9001, QS9000 certified, and the environmental management system is ISO14001 certified.
